The 1300 cc lineup of Toyota Corolla, which includes XLi and GLi variants, has seen unprecedented success in Pakistan since its inception. Previously, if you wanted to have an automatic transmission, you had to opt for the GLi variant of Corolla in Pakistan. In light of the massive popularity of the XLi variant, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has decided to launch the automatic variant of the XLi in order to tap into a market segment which was dominated by the 1300 cc automatic variant of the Honda City.
IMC has not only introduced an automatic transmission in the XLi but has also made available a score of new and improved features for one of the most favorite sedans in Pakistan. These features include ISOFIX child seat anchors, power mirror control, body-colored mud flaps, LED clearance lamps, side view mirrors turn signals and front personal lamp.
Moreover, it will also come with safety and security features like dual SRS airbags and immobilizer respectively. The delivery of XLi automatic variant will commence by the end of this month. According to reports, the automatic variant of XLi will be available in two colors – white and black. The price of the automatic variant of Corolla XLi is in the vicinity of Rs 20 lacs.
