National Highway Authority Raised More Than Rs 100 Million In Car Auction

Following the austerity drive of Prime Minister, the NHA has collected more than Rs 100 million after auctioning more than 90 vehicles so far. This is the part of the initiative undertaken by the Prime Minister of Pakistan to generate revenue to pull Pakistan out of the budget deficit. Such an auction was previously undertaken at the Prime Minister house. The auction is taking place across Pakistan at various different locations and is scheduled to end on November 5, 2018.

Recently, the Lahore office of the National Highway Authority auctioned more than 20 vehicles and received around Rs 30 million. A large number of people are showing up and participating in the auction efforts along with people from the NHA administration unit.

NHA also auctioned around 60 vehicles at the Islamabad office and raised more than Rs 60 million. Both Peshawar and Abbottabad offices also did great and raised more than Rs 20 million and Rs 10 million respectively.The vehicle auctions will also take place in Sukkur, Quetta, Multan and Gilgit in the coming days and will auction a total of 90 more vehicles. Vehicles included in the auction campaign are Toyota Prado, Mitsubishi Pajero, Toyota Hilux, Suzuki Potohar, Suzuki Cultus and Toyota Vigo among others.
