Motorola P30 Unveiled With Snapdragon 636 Chipset

The new Motorola P30 looks similar to the iPhone X with an iPhone X like notch. The new smartphone from the Lenovo-owned Motorola has a 6.2-inch full HD screen with 1080 x 2246 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset from Qualcomm. The smartphone houses 6 GB of RAM with an internal storage of either 128 GB or 64 GB. The internal storage can be expanded to 256 GB using a microSD card. The smartphone is set to go on sale beginning September 15 and will be available in black, blue and white colors.

As far as the camera is concerned, there is a dual 16 MP + 5 MP rear mounted camera with dual-tone LED flash and video recording capabilities that are full-HD. At the front, there is a 12 MP camera with AI capabilities to enhance the photos taken. Powering the smartphone is a 3000 mAh battery which provides ample amount of battery time.

For connectivity, the Motorola P30 has 4G LTE, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner near the camera lens. Dimensions of the phone measure at 155.5×75.95×7.69 mm and it weighs approximately 170 grams. Sensors include ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer and electronic compass. However, unlike iPhone X it does have a headphone jack and the notch at the front of P30 is a little wider than what you can find on the iPhone X. The P30 has an all-glass design with minimal bezels to mimic the contemporary smartphone design language. The starting price of the P30 will be around Rs 40,000 in Pakistan once it goes on sale.
