The new Honor 10 GT has just been unveiled by Huawei which is going to be the first ever smartphone from the brand with an 8 GB RAM. The previous version of the same smartphone, the Honor 10, housed either a 4 GB RAM or a 6 GB RAM. Even the previously launched Huawei Porsche phone did not have 8 GB RAM. Apart from the new and more powerful RAM, the Honor 10 GT has the same appearance and specifications as its predecessor.
The Honor 10 GT will have a fingerprint scanner in the home button and will have a display of 5.8 inch and 2280 x 1080 pixels FHD+ screen resolution. The display of Honor 10 GT is essentially edge-to-edge; however, there is a notch where 24-megapixel front-facing camera is located. The Honor 10 GT will also have AI camera setup which will allow the users to take images in AI photography mode.
The new phone from Huawei will have a 3400 mAh battery and a Kirin 970 processor. Going to the back of the phone, you can find a 16-megapixel and 24-megapixel dual lens rear camera. Unlike the iPhone, the Honor 10 GT has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and it is a vital feature for those who fancy such a feature. It will also incorporate a Type-C USB port. The new smartphone will have a 128 GB of internal storage and will be powered by Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei has also recently claimed that the new GPU turbo technology will reduce the battery consumption by about 30 percent and the overall performance of the phone will increase by 60 percent. This technology is currently being tested under the beta mode on Honor 10 smartphone. The Huawei Honor 10 GT will also have a Super Night Scene mode that got featured on P20 and P20 Pro as well.
The Chinese tech giant. Huawei, will officially launch the new smartphone on 24 July in China. The price has not been revealed by Huawei; however, considering it has similar features to its predecessor, we can anticipate it will be in the vicinity of $392.
