Vivo, a Chinese phone maker, has launched a peculiar yet innovative designed phone that boasts completely notch-less and bezel-free display. A quirky pop-up camera adds to the peculiarity of the design and makes it interesting for those consumers who are always fishing for innovative designs.
The new phone by Vivo has recently been revealed in Beijing which is equipped with some very impressive technology. It also touts a 6.59 inches Super AMOLED display and the screen spreads out from edge to edge without disruptions from buttons or cameras. Such specifications help in differentiating the product from the rest of the smartphones available in the market currently. The weight of the phone is under 200 g which does not make it the lightest one in the market; however, with a huge screen the extra bit of weight can be justified.
Coming towards the fingerprint scanner, it is buried in the touch screen which is not something new in the market as Huawei Honor 10 already has it. However, such a scanner is not as efficient as a physical scanner. Nex’s back is made of glass just like most of the new smartphones nowadays and the way it curves makes it easier to hold.
Display on the new Vivo phone is very crisp and vibrant and comes without the notch, just like the iPhone X, and has a 91.24 percent screen to body ratio. However, contrary to the claims of Vivo, the screen is not entirely bezel-less. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, Adreno 630 GPU, 8 GB RAM and a 4000mAh battery. Such specifications mean the lag will be close to none even when recording 4K videos. Storage is expected to be in the ballpark of 256 GB which can easily house high resolution videos.
