3 Easy Ways to Connect Your Smartphone With LED

Screen Mirroring/ Casting

Screen mirroring is probably the easiest way to connect your mobile and tv together. In order for this method to work, your smart tv should have in-built screen mirroring. Both the devices should share the same wifi connection as well. 

It has different methods for android and iPhones.

1. For Android Phones:

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  • Connect your smartphone and LED with the same wifi network.
  • Open the Quick Control panel by swiping down twice on your smartphone.
  • Search for screen mirroring or screencast option and hold it for a few seconds.
  • This will open the quick settings option.
  • Search for the name of your smart tv on the list and select it.
  • Your android smartphone will start to mirror its screen with the smart tv.

2. For iPhones:

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  • Connect your iPhone and smart tv with the same wifi network.
  • Open the Control Center by swiping down from the upper right corner of your mobile screen.
  • Under the screen mirroring option, search for the name of your smart tv on the list and click on it.
  • Your iPhone will start to mirror its screen with the LED.

This is a quick way to connect your smartphone and LED. You can easily play games, browse the internet, have access to apps or listen to music on your tv screen using this method.

In addition, you can connect the two in the following ways. 

Bluetooth

Follow these steps to connect your smartphone and smart TV via Bluetooth:

  • On your tv, go to settings and select bluetooth.
  • Search for more devices.
  • Turn on your mobile bluetooth.
  • Connect it with the Tv.
  • Accept the pairing request on both your devices.
  • Now open youtube and select the video you want to watch.

This is a highly convenient method to ensure a quick connection between your smartphone and LED. However, this only works for Youtube videos and some selective aaps.

USB Cable/ HDMI Cable

A USB or HDMI cable can help connect a smartphone to a smart and non-smart tv both.

Following are the steps which need to be followed to connect a mobile with a TV via a USB cable or HDMI cable:

  • Plug in your USB or HDMI cable into the port on the tv.
  • Insert the other end of the cable into your mobile’s charging point.
  • Select the ‘Source’ option on your tv.
  • Select the port you have plugged the cable in.
  • Your mobile phone will start to display its screen on the tv.

In order to use this method, you need to make sure that your tv has a USB port or an HDMI port. Otherwise, this method would not work.
