Qatar Visit Visa for Pakistanis

Pakistanis going to Qatar get a visit visa on arrival and following are the required documents for it:

  • A valid passport with 6 months of validity
  • Confirmed return ticket
  • Hotel bookings made on Discover Qatar for the entire stay
  • If you are staying at a friend’s or relative’s residence who is a citizen of Qatar, you will have to submit a copy of their Qatari ID. 
  • If you plan to stay with a friend or a relative who is not a citizen of Qatar, you will need:
    1. A letter of authority from them
    2. A copy of their passport’s bio page
    3. A copy of their rental agreement
    4. Their Qatari ID and residence visa
  • A negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival
  • A valid credit card
  • Covid vaccination certificate with the last dose taken at least 14 days before arrival
  • Pakistani tourist should have a certificate of vaccination against Polio

How to Get a Qatar Visit Visa on Arrival?

To get a visa on arrival, once you land in Qatar, you have to visit the immigration counter. Present all the documents and get a stamp entry. 

What is the Validity of Qatar Visit Visa? 

With a Pakistani passport, you can get Qatar’s visa on arrival. The country provides a 30 days visa on arrival to Pakistani tourists and it can also be extended for another 30 days but you will have to pay extra for it. 

Note: The duration of visa can only be extended once the return ticket is confirmed. You can get a visa extension by applying at the Qatar Ministry of Interior’s Immigration Office across the country.

Qatar Work Visa for Pakistanis

Following are the documents that you will need to submit to get a work visa in Qatar:

  • Employment contract approved by the Ministry of Labor
  • A medical certificate proving good health
  • Passport’s copy
  • Passport size photographs 
  • Relevant educational certificates
  • Biometric fingerprints

Note: You will have to submit all of these documents to your employer, he will then apply for your visa. 

Once you reach Qatar, you can collect your visa and the rest of your documents from the airport. Here you will have to go through a medical checkup and fingerprint scans. 

Within 7 days of your arrival in Qatar, your employer should apply for your residence permit. 

To get a residence permit, you will have to submit the following documents to your employer:

  • Passport size photos
  • Original passport
  • Employment contract
  • Employment visa
  • Medical certificate

Once you get a Work Residence Permit, you can apply for further licenses and permits, apply for a loan, sign a rental document, sponsor your immediate family and the list goes on.

What is the Validity of Qatar Work Visa? 

Qatar work visas are valid till your employment is terminated. However, your employer has to get it renewed.
