Effects of car price hike in Pakistan
No one can deny that this price increase is going to hit the local consumers pretty hard. Changan vehicles especially its sedan, Alsvin, is the cheapest sedan in Pakistan and therefore caters to the middle income segment. This segment is the worst hit by rising inflation. It is why we believe the sales of this vehicle would come down. The middle income consumer is likely to shift towards used cars.
