Conclusion
United cars being cheap have not posted very impressive sales numbers on the board. Despite this, the company has increased the prices due to an appreciating US Dollar against the Pak Rupee, etc. At least this is the going excuse for all auto manufacturers increasing prices of their vehicles.
The US Dollar has only recently weakened against the Pak Rupee taking a plunge of Rs.22 in two days. Will these companies decrease the price of their vehicles proportionally?
Even otherwise, car sales are dropping and are expected to sell 30% less by September 2022. This should be a serious cause of concern for auto manufacturers and should make them think twice before raising the prices again.
