Procedure to Apply for Learner Driving License in Islamabad
Here are the steps to apply for a learner driving license in Islamabad.
- The applicant must visit the Islamabad traffic police office in person.
- Park your vehicle (if any) in the Street 32 parking area.
- Present your original CNIC at the reception to get a token (from QMS).
- Go to the one-window hall and wait for your turn.
- When your number is displayed at any counter, go there and enter the information and credentials. Ensure that all the provided information is correct.
- You will get your learner permit after providing the information.
- Now, you have to take a 1-hour class about road safety awareness and traffic rules.
- At the end of class, the instructor will sign and stamp the back of your learner permit.
- You can appear for the driving test after 42 days of issuance of a learner license.
*The learner permit is valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
