Your Wait for Locally Assembled MG HS Essence is Finally Over Now

As we told you about MG to Start Local Production of Its Vehicles Soon in Pakistan, locally assembled MG HS is officially available now. Customers will be able to book this crossover SUV soon in Pakistan. It is confirmed by Javed Afridi who posted this news on his Facebook account.

Locally Assembled MG HS Booking and Delivery

Customers will be able to book the local MG HS (called MG HS Essence) from Monday (12-Dec-2022). We have contacted MG’s dealership and their representatives have told us that the booking amount starts from 20 lakhs. However, if a person books the crossover with full payment, the price will be locked. 

The tentative delivery date for the bookings with partial payments is March 2023. If a person books it with full payment, the tentative delivery date is Feb 2023.

The price (ex-factory) of locally assembled is Rs.8,199,000 (after price hike. 

MG HS (Locally Assembled) Specs and Features

There is almost no change in the local MG HS as compared to its foreign counterpart with the exception of following:

• No Automatic Emergency Braking
• No Intelligent Speed Assist System
• Local maps enabled for better navigation

These changes have been made considering local traffic conditions in Pakistan.

Conclusion

The much-awaited MG HS is finally here. The representative from the MG dealership has told us that with the exception of abovementioned three points, there isn’t any change in the CBU and CKD variants. But stay tuned for our detailed review in which we will see if the company has launched the completely unchanged CKD variant of MG HS CBU. 

The price (ex-factory) of MG HS CBU is around 89 lacs. With the launch of locally-assembled MG HS Essence, we have already seen a price drop of nearly 20 lakhs.
