After Honda, United and Road Prince, Metro bike prices in Pakistan have increased. Metro is the fourth motorcycle assembler in Pakistan which has jacked up the prices of its lineup. Metro along with its other local competitors are reeling from a fluctuating foreign exchange, lack of opening of LCs from State Bank of Pakistan and a general state of economic uncertainty in the country. Whether the present price hike is justified or not, it goes without saying that the cost of manufacturing has gone up in Pakistan, making these companies pass the burden on to the end consumer.
