Honda to Launch Electric Scooter Soon in Pakistan?

Honda to Launch Electric Scooter Soon in Pakistan?

Great news if you were planning to buy an electric scooter, as Honda may launch its electric scooter soon in Pakistan. Recently, the government announced the National Electric Vehicle Policy 2025-30, targeting to increase the share of electric vehicles to 30% of the total automobile sales in Pakistan. Now, Honda wants to ride the wave and take its share in the expanding EV market in the country, as it’s the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Pakistan, surpassing the combined sales of most major 2-wheeler brands.

Now, the question is, which Honda electric scooter is most likely to make it to Pakistan? Is it going to be Honda BENLY e revealed in 2023 in Pakistan or the popular ACTIVA e? Well, there is no official confirmation yet. So, let’s see the specs and features of both:

Honda BENLY e

BENLY e, revealed in 2023 in Pakistan, is an electric scooter made to carry stuff. It’s suitability for the Pakistani market doesn’t look too promising because of high price and less demand for this type of vehicle. But that’s just an assumption after a quick overview. Let’s see its specs  and features here:

Final Verdict

Well, many Pakistanis may not be ready to pay over Rs. 1 million for an electric scooter, so the launch of BENLY e is unlikely. On the other hand, the ACTIVA e has a price point of under 4 lakh (direct conversion from INR to PKR). So, this model is likely to be launched for nearly 5-6 lakh as the production cost is higher in Pakistan. Again, these are just assumptions, as there is no official confirmation from the company yet.
