Like the Nubia A36 looks just like the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but a cheaper version, the A56 looks like the  Xiaomi 15, the flagship phone by the company due to the black  square on the rear side. Other than that, its body is mostly like the A36, boxy, front notch, etc.

In terms of performance, it’s similar to its younger sibling due to the  Unisoc T7200 chipset. However, the storage is more (128GB) in this model. RAM is the same 4GB though. It means, you will get more storage to keep your memories saved but with the same level of performance. Moreover, it comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor which is missing in the A36, so no more pin and password typing to unlock your phone.

The Nubia A56 has 6.75 inch IPS LCD with 90hz refresh rate. It might not be as vivid and colorful as some of the other models but is fast enough. The notch seems a little old fashioned compared to the overall appearance of the mobile.

In the camera department, the Nubia A56 has a 13MP main camera and auxiliary lenses. On the  front side, it has an 8MP selfie camera which is decent compared to the 5MP front camera of A36.

Battery of ZTE Nubia A56 is the regular 5,000 mAh and comes with 10W charging support. The charging speed seems a little slow and could have been improved to at least 18W.

Conclusion

The ZTE Nubia A56 is a decent phone, and justifies its price, especially compared to the Nubia A36. It has a side fingerprint sensor, 128GB storage, 8MP selfie camera, and these are the upgrades that justify the price gap between the A56 and A36.  However, I didn’t like the performance and charging speed, which might be a budget constraint.
