Toyota Pakistan has increased the prices of its imported (CBU) vehicles including Prius, Cross, Camry and Rush.

Toyota and all other auto manufacturers have always said that a depreciating Rupee against the US Dollar and rising freight charges force them to increase the prices of their CKD or locally manufactured cars. This rationale holds true more for CBUs than CKDs due to localization of auto spare factors and other factors.
