How Much Will Hajj Cost in 2025 After Discount?

As the Hajj is approaching soon, there will be a great number of people travelling to Saudi Arabia. Many people who have a dream of performing Hajj can’t do it due to the high cost, which fluctuates every year due to economic instability. If you are interested in the latest Hajj price in Pakistan in 2025, it’s the right place. I will show you the official prices for long and short Hajj announced by the government.

Hajj Prices 2025

Recently, the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced the final Hajj prices for both long and short Hajj. The announced costs for the long and short Hajj were Rs. 1,075,000 and Rs. 1,150,000, respectively. However, the government has announced a discount now, and the long Hajj costs Rs. 25,000 less and the short Hajj costs Rs. 50,000 less now. So, the long Hajj now costs around Rs. 1,050,000, whereas the short Hajj costs around Rs. 1,100,000.

This discount is being offered after the government has successfully negotiated with Saudi authorities. Now, the Pilgrims have to pay Rs. 450,000 for the long Hajj and Rs. 500,000 for the short Hajj in the 3rd installment. The payment can be made between 6 February and 14 February at designated banks. Furthermore, the booking for private Hajj will continue until the end of February.

The government is also refunding Rs. 4.75 billion to the pilgrims from last year.

Receive Passports in Just 24 Hours

Pilgrimages can now receive passports in just 24 hours by simply visiting the nearest passport office with a copy of the Hajj application. There are special desks for Hajj applicants to make their experience smoother and more comfortable.

‘Ghar Se Ghar Tak’ Hajj Scheme 2025

The government has introduced a ‘ghar se ghar tak’ scheme for Hajj 2025, which undertakes effective measures to make the journey convenient for pilgrimages. For this sake, a total of 600 Nazmeens (guides) will be appointed, and there will be one guide assigned for every 150 pilgrims, helping them perform religious rituals in the right way. Right after the flight is scheduled for Hajj, the pilgrimages will be informed of their nazmeen.

Conclusion

To sum this up, the prices for Hajj 2025 have been announced, and as a result of the low inflation rate and stable exchange rate, the prices have not jumped a lot this time. You still have time to book your private hajj till the end of February, whereas the application for the government hajj scheme will only be accepted till 30th January 2025.

Moreover, 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims are expected to perform Hajj in 2025, and this time, improved facilities and lower accommodation costs are expected. Also, a mobile app will provide live maps, training schedules, flight details, and real-time updates.
