Pros & Cons
Check out the pros and cons of the OnePlus 13:
Pros
Excellent performance
Great AI features
IP68/IP69 dust & water resistance
Large battery
Cheaper than some other flagships
Cons
Less innovation in design
Thick & a little bulky
Less innovation in camera
Body & Design
Starting with the design, there aren’t many changes as the OnePlus 13 comes with the iconic OnePlus flagship design, especially from the rear side with a circular camera module. However, the front side has a flat display compared to the curved display available in the previous model. Whether it is a good or bad upgrade totally depends on personal choice, as I like the flat displays more, but some people also love the curved displays.
The good thing is that it is slightly thinner and lighter than its precursor but still on the bulkier and thicker side if I compare it with some other flagships. The company has managed to provide impressive safety standards, though with the IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.

Display
As discussed, it has a flat-screen now, but that doesn’t mean the quality has decreased. In fact, you get Ultra HDR image support this time, which wasn’t available in the OnePlus 12. Moreover, the front side has a Ceramic Guard glass, making it sturdier and safer than the previous model. If I compare it with the other flagships of this level, like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra & Google Pixel 9 Pro, it has a higher peak brightness.

Performance
Here comes the highlighting area of the OnePlus 13, as the performance of this phone has been improved immensely compared to the OnePlus 12. Its Antutu score is nearly 2,690,500 on average for V10, and its GeekBench score for V6 is 9278.
The main reasons behind these high scores are the top chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm), and a superior GPU, the Adreno 830, powering its core. This combination delivers 36% better performance (as per AnTuTu score) than last year’s flagship chipset, making it a performance beast of 2025. The company claims it to be 45% better in performance. And guess what? It’s more efficient, which means it will deliver more power and consume less power at the same time, a win-win situation.
Moreover, it comes with the latest Android 15 and OxygenOS 15, providing a clean UI for the users. You will get the option to choose from multiple memory options with RAM up to 24GB & storage up to 1TB.
Specifications | OnePlus 13 |

A Large 6000 mAh Battery
One of the best things about the OnePlus 13 is its exceptional 6000 mAh battery, consisting of a silicon carbon anode providing a longer power backup. Coming to charging, it is quite fast with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Keep in mind that you won’t get a charger out of the box, and you will have to buy it separately.

Charging | 100W wired, PD, QC, 50% in 13 min, 100% in 36 min 50W wireless 10W reverse wireless 5W reverse wired |
Camera
The cameras of the OnePlus 13 haven’t got any major changes. Its triple camera setup still consists of wide, ultrawide, and periscopic lenses. However, all the cameras are 50MP now with slight changes in the specs. The good thing is that this new OnePlus phone supports 8K 30fps video recording as opposed to the 8K 24fps in the previous model.
Still, the cameras are quite exceptional in terms of quality, sharpness, colors, etc., as the OnePlus is famous for its cameras.
The 32MP selfie camera is a little less impressive, which the company could have upgraded because the front camera of its competitor, the Google Pixel 9 Pro, is 42MP, which produces exceptional results.

AI Features
With the new OS upgrade, the OnePlus 13 comes with some special AI features as well to make the phone do more than before. Features like Circle to Search, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, etc. are some of the top AI features you will notice in this phone.
The OnePlus AI suite contains the translation, transcription, text generation and formatting, and image editing and enhancement tools you’d expect. There’s also an intelligent search tool for hunting for content within locally saved files (except those in hidden folders, you’ll be glad to hear), plus Google’s Circle to Search tool and Gemini assistant.
Coming to the sensors, there is a major shift in the fingerprint sensor. The optical sensor has been replaced with the ultrasonic sensor. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensors offer enhanced security and accuracy by using sound waves to create a detailed 3D map of the fingerprint, unlike optical sensors, which rely on 2D images.

Final Verdict
If you ask me, the OnePlus 13 has fascinated me a lot because performance and battery are among the main factors I look for when buying a phone. There aren’t any noticeable upgrades in the camera department, but its cameras are still pretty decent. The introduction of an IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance is also quite an impressive safety enhancement. So, if I had a choice, I would definitely go with it.
However, it is not the phone for people who prefer small screen sizes, lightweight, and slim phones. Now, the choice is yours!
