OnePlus, one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of Android phones, will be launching its flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, exactly a week from today on December 5, 2023 in China. The company has posted some images of the upcoming phone on its website. While some of the specs and features of the phone are now known, the in-detail specifications and features will be revealed on its launch day. We will cover that event for you, so stay tuned if you’re a OnePlus fan, including the OnePlus 12 price in Pakistan. For now, let’s take a look at what is to be expected from the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus 12 Design
As mentioned earlier, there are no points for guessing what the phone is going to look like; you can see it for yourself on the company’s website. Anyone who has seen the OnePlus 11 or owns one would find it hard to tell the difference between the two. While the two phones may look pretty much the same, there are some differences.
The upcoming OnePlus 12 is set to bring several notable changes, including a textured back and the return of the Alert Slider, now positioned on the left side with an integrated antenna. OnePlus claims that this adjustment aims to enhance antenna performance for gaming, promising a 3dB signal improvement and a 15% reduction in latency. The Alert Slider, allowing users to switch between ring, vibrate, and silent modes, makes a comeback after being removed from the OnePlus 10T last year.
The OnePlus 12 is rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide Sony IMX581 sensor, and a 64-megapixel 3x telephoto zoom lens with OIS. OnePlus China president Li Jie confirmed on Weibo that the device will include the company’s inaugural 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, although specific sensor details are yet to be disclosed.
OnePlus 12 Specs
Other notable features include a 2K OLED panel with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and impressive RAM options of up to 24GB, potentially on specific models, with a maximum storage capacity of 1TB. Rumors suggest the return of wireless charging, an IR blaster, and the introduction of USB 3.2 data transfer speeds.
OnePlus 12 Price in Pakistan
The global launch date of this phone has not been revealed yet, but it could potentially take place in January 2024. The phone will be available in three colors: Black, White, and Green. While there is no official information or credible leaks regarding the phone’s price, in our opinion, it could be launched at $800 – $900. This means that its price, exclusive of taxes in Pakistan, would likely fall between Rs.230,000 and Rs.260,000.
