The new smartphone from Oppo, the Find X, is set to launch on June 19 at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Oppo is a well-known brand in the Asian countries and Australia. However, in the US and UK, its sister brand OnePlus is more in vogue than Oppo itself. BKK electronics own both the brands along with Vivo. Usually Oppo smartphones act as a foundation for the OnePlus devices. The Find X is expected to have 5x zoom on its dual camera, 2500 mAh battery, fast charging that can fill up the battery in 15 minutes, 3D reconstruction and AR (augmented reality) features.
The Find series is being revived after four years; however, most of the details are under wraps right now. Oppo stated that the new Find X will incorporate the exploration of the ultimate future smartphone. The letter “X” in the name is said to mean “adventurous and extreme”; however, it ironically bears resemblance to the name of a smartphone from a tech giant. The last Find series phone released by Oppo was the Find 7 that incorporated Quad HD screen and plenty of processing power. Among other features, dual cameras and all-screen displays have altered the smartphone market to a great extent.
According to speculations, Find X will probably house 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 is expected to be included in the Find X as this is the top-of-the-line chip produced by Qualcomm. Currently the Snapdragon 845 is included only in a small number of flagship products of brands like Samsung in its Galaxy S9. It is time to wait and see how the flagship product of Oppo will face the competition from major brands across the world.
