Olx Pakistan – Pakistan’s no.1 marketplace for buying and selling of products and services and Careem, a vehicle for hire company, recently signed a strategic partnership at the former’s head office in Lahore.

This simple and dignified ceremony was attended by the senior management of both organizations, including Syed Zeeshan Ali, General Manager OLX Motors and Rehan Elahi, Head of Inspections of OLX Motors.
This partnership will ensure that every car that enters Careem’s fleet is in a roadworthy condition. It is pertinent to mention that in Pakistan alone, over 3,000 road accidents are reported annually in which the major cause is vehicles lack of roadworthiness. It is common to hear of fatal road accidents especially on highways where accidents happen due to limited visibility accentuated by vehicles’ lack of working front lights, rear brake lights, etc.
To this end, the two organizations have joined hands to ensure Careem cars roadworthiness before they are taken onto the road.

Olx Pakistan’s trained car inspectors using state of the art equipment check a vehicle’s roadworthiness based on a 200+ checklist. In the end, a detailed report is generated which brings out the true picture of the vehicle.
