Over the years Porsche has been successful in gaining the attention of the luxury automobile sector of Pakistan from already established Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Porsche and Audi both are relatively new luxury automobile brands in Pakistan and help in making the segment more competitive and efficient. Two models of Porsche, Panamera, and Cayenne have been very successful in Pakistan. Panamera has stolen some of the market segments from the S Class and 7 Series from Mercedes and BMW respectively.
Cayenne; however, has been successful in creating a new segment for itself as the sporty exotic sports SUV in Pakistan. Seeing the popularity of Cayenne and the coupe-style SUVs, Porsche has launched a coupe version of Cayenne last week. This particular model of Cayenne will rival BMW X6, Audi Q8, and Lamborghini Urus, both in performance and luxury.
Exterior
The front of the coupe is similar to the normal Cayenne. The real difference is in the sloping roofline and the rear of the coupe. The coupe slopes gracefully from the front to the rear where an active spoiler is mounted right above the headlights. The roof is 20mm lower and the rear wheel arches are 18mm wider than the original Cayenne. The spoiler is similar to the one you can find on Porsche 911 models.
Interior
Compared to the original Cayenne SUV, the coupe has a smaller interior space; therefore, limiting the practicality. In order to improve the headspace, the rear seats are lowered by 30mm. the dashboard and the front seats are similar to the original Cayenne. The front seats are eight-way adjustable sports seats, perfectly capable to hold you in space during high speeds and cornering. In the back, you will find a bench seat; however, it can seat only two people as the middle of the bench is storage space.
Due to the sloping roofline, the interior can get dark and dingy. In order to improve the lighting, the base Cayenne coupe comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof. Although the boot space is smaller than the original Cayenne, it is sufficiently large enough to swallow your luggage. The total capacity stands at 625 liters. However, you will find it difficult to stack taller items in the boot.
Performance
You can buy your Porsche Cayenne Coupe with two different engines. The first one is a 3.0L V6 engine pumping out 340 horsepower. This performance figure pushes the coupe from 0-60 mph in just 6 seconds. The second option is a 4.0L V8 engine that pumps out 550 horsepower, capable of doing 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. When it comes to performance sporty SUVs you have to sacrifice on fuel efficiency.
The standard features and specifications include 20-inch alloy wheels, Sports Chrono package and front and rear sensors with a reversing camera. You can get optional 22-inch alloy wheels, carbon fiber lightweight roof, Alcantara leather seats, and a louder sports exhaust.
