In August 2022, Al-Haj Automotive Pvt Ltd. decreased the prices of its vehicles by as much as Rs.110,000. The reason given at the time was the strengthening Pak Rupee against the US Dollar. Now that the local currency has continued its upward trend against the Dollar, the company has given another relief in prices of its premium SUV – Proton X70.
Those customers of Proton X70 who have been issued balance payment letters between August 4 and September 30, 2022, will now have to pay Rs.200,000 less.
In addition, those customers who missed the deadline mentioned in their balance payment letters can avail this one-time waiver without paying the additional Rs.200,000 by October 21, 2022.

As mentioned above, Proton X70 prices were revised in August 2022 and its current ex-factory price is Rs.7,190,000 for X70 FWD Premium and Rs.6,740,000 for X70 AWD Executive.
