Price is too high. People look for a small car in 3M range. Or a good car upto 4M max.
People have options of japanese EVs like Sakura or EK EV in 5M to 6M.
In price bracket of this upcoming car, people would like to move to corolla 1.8 hybrid or to Haval HEV which costs 12M. Even Nissan Leaf which is a full sized sedan costs around 8M to 9M. Its far better not to launch in this price.
India has launched tesla in price of 1.5M INR which comes around 5M here.
