Javed Afridi mentioned in a Facebook post, “YES BELOW 2MILLION MG3. In Final Stages”. It indicates its price would be around Rs.2,000,000.
However, the price sounds too good to be true when you realize this car’s global price is a lot higher than Rs.2m. For example, MG 3 Price in the UK starts from £12,995 (3,300,000 PKR Approx.) In Australia, its minimum price is $18,990 (2,720,000 PKR Approx.).

Given Pakistan’s current economic environment, it is highly unlikely that this car could be launched in the Rs.2m price bracket. Given that the local currency keeps losing against the USD and the government keeps increasing taxes on car manufacturing and buying, one feels bewildered at Afridi’s claim.
So, we cannot predict what its actual price will be at its launch due to the above-mentioned reasons.

Currently, there is no official statement about the launch and MG 3 booking in Pakistan. Javed Afridi only stated “In Final Stages” in his post without revealing any timeline for its launch.
