If you want to ride a motorcycle or drive a car anywhere in Balochistan, you should be at least 18 years of age. However, the law requires that you should be a little older, at least 21 years of age if you want to drive a taxi, rickshaw or tractor. The age limit is even higher – 22 years – if you want to drive a bus or truck or other heavy transport vehicle (HTV).
In addition to fulfilling the age requirement, you need to furnish the following mandatory documents at the time of applying for a learner driving license in Balochistan. These are:
- A valid CNIC with one attested copy
- One passport size photograph
- Fee: Rs.220
- Medical Form B
Procedure
Go to your nearest driving license office or center with the above mentioned.
- Get a token between 9AM – 12:30PM
- Pay fee at the National Bank counter located inside the center
- When your token number is called, go to the relevant desk for data collection and biometric identification
- Upon successful completion of all the steps, you’ll receive your learner driving license on the spot
A learner driving license is valid for 6 months though you can apply for a regular driving license after 42 days.
