Important Changes You Must Know About
Effective from April 1, 2023, by amending the Danish Aliens Act, the Danish government hopes to attract skilled workers and international students by:
- Lowering minimum salary requirements
- Expansion of fast-track scheme for work permits
- Extended post-study stay
Denmark Work Visa: Important Changes
Before the latest changes, only those with the minimum salary of 465,000 Danish Krones were eligible to apply for work permits. Now, it is reduced to 375,000. Which means more people will be eligible for Danish work permits.
Prior to the latest changes, Danish companies with a minimum of 20 full-time employees were eligible to hire foreign workers through a fast track process. However, the requirement has now been lowered to 10 full-time employees, allowing even small companies to hire foreign workers through the fast track process.
