If you need to sell urban property in Punjab, you must obtain the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Government of the Punjab. This often means making multiple visits to the office, standing in long queues and sometimes greasing the palms of the officials. All of this may come to end now, as you can now apply for the NOC online.
How to Apply for NOC Online?
To avail this service, all you need to do is visit the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department’s online portal. It will ask for your:
- CNIC number
- 32-digit Property Identification Number (PIN) – You’ll find this on the PT10-Challan form
Once submitted, you’ll be able to download the NOC.
Who Cannot Apply for Online NOC?
Owner of property subject to litigation will not be able to avail this service.
