POCO X4 Pro 5G is expected to be launched in Pakistan soon. POCO X3 Pro was a great success with a price tag of Rs.50K and became popular among many gamers.
With the news of X3 Pro successor coming to Pakistan, many would be curious to know its specs and features. As the X3 Pro was completely built for gaming, this device is going to be an all-rounder. We are here with the complete review of Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro to help you understand what to expect.
POCO X4 Pro: Design and Display (D&D)
Design
Design of POCO X4 Pro has major upgrades. First of all, the back cover comes without that bold and large POCO branding. This branding has shifted to the camera module. Back cover is now made of glass instead of plastic.
Camera module is wide and rectangular instead of round. Sides are almost flat now which were round in the previous model. Its thickness is reduced to just 8.1mm which has reduced its weight as well. So, this device is lighter and comfortable to handle as compared to its predecessor.
Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and IP53 rating shows it comes with decent protection as well.

Display
Now, here is another major upgrade in POCO X4 Pro as compared to its predecessor X3 Pro. The company has introduced it with the AMOLED Panel.
You must be wondering if the screen refresh rate is compromised?
The refresh rate is the same – 120 Hz. It means, you are going to get better results when watching videos. And at the same time, the touch response and screen’s refresh rate is impressive which is a heaven for gamers.

POCO X4 Pro Cameras
Again! A major upgrade in the camera department. Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G has a 108 MP primary camera. Its predecessor X3 Pro had a 64 MP camera. However, one camera (depth sensor) is reduced as it has a triple camera setup as compared to the four cameras of its predecessor. There is another compromise here. This device doesn’t support 4K video recording which was available in POCO X3 Pro.
Selfie camera is also compromised as it has a 16 MP shooter as compared to the 20 MP selfie camera of POCO X3 Pro. However, the camera sensor is larger now.

POCO X4 Pro Performance
This is where POCO has compromised the most. POCO X4 Pro comes with Snapdragon 695 which has significant deficiency in performance as compared to Snapdragon 860 of its predecessor X3 Pro. Same is the case with its GPU which is downgraded.
Coming to its storage, it’s downgraded to UFS 2.2 from UFS 3.1 in X3 Pro. There isn’t any upgrade in the software.
So, it has improvements in other areas, but lacks performance as compared to POCO X3 Pro.

POCO X4 Pro Features
Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G comes with 67W fast charging support which is quite impressive as compared to its predecessor. It takes only 22 minutes to charge the battery from 0% to 70% and 0% to 100% in 41 minutes (as advertised).
An area where POCO could do better is the fingerprint sensor. As the device has an AMOLED Panel, it could easily come with an ultrasonic (in-display) fingerprint sensor. But it still has a side fingerprint sensor.

Expected Launch
There is no information about the official launch of POCO X4 Pro in Pakistan. However, some sources suggest that the company might be launching this device in June or July this year. If this doesn’t happen, then there are less chances that this device will come to Pakistan. It is because it was globally launched in February 2022. Delaying its launch more will reduce its chances of success as many other companies are introducing new devices with modern features and specs.
