Last week, Honda Pakistan revealed the car in an amazing and flamboyant media launch / digital live launch event which was well appreciated by attendants & viewers. Currently Honda – City has taken over the campaign in full swing and created good buzz at all ATL / BTL Mediums.

Prior to the launch, Honda started releasing teasers of the car, hinting on its exterior, interior and safety features of the car. The campaign got massive popularity among the consumers as it increased the anticipation & hype in the market. The company highlighted the main options of the car in those teasers to make it a strong candidate against its competitors.
The enthusiasm was so high that the company reportedly booked 12,000 units of the new City. As per the company, it has offered best features in the car in its segment. The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) of the New Honda City is innovation at its best. It harnesses both efficiency & performance.
Exterior:
Let us talk about the exterior first, which has a number of notable and interesting features. Firstly, you will find Smart Entry which comes with a secured immobilizer. The company has offered retractable door mirrors in two 1500cc variants and this feature has not been offered in any other car of this segment. Furthermore, it has Alloy Wheels along with Halogen Headlights with LED DRLs, making the front of the car stylish.
Honda has also offered High Ground Clearance (171.88mm) in the car, making it very suitable for local cars where high ground clearance is essential. Lastly, the car has a spacious trunk with 510 Liter capacity, making it a good vehicle for travelling with your family.
Interior:
The first notable thing is its 9-inch Infotainment System and again no other car manufacturer in this segment is offering a screen in this size. The other excellent options included Cruise Control, Push Start System, ECON Driving Mode, One Touch Winker and Multi Information Combination Meter.
The company has offered Electronic Power Steering with Mounted Audio Control and Tilt and Telescopic Steering. These options make the driving very comfortable and easy so that you can enjoy the drive completely.
Moving on, you will find an Automatic AC with Rear vents, which is a feature of luxury cars, making the travel of people sitting in back seats very relaxed. Also, the Air Vents in the car have Dust and Pollen Air Filters, which are especially great during the current time of pandemic. One of the most important features in the interior is the Driver Seat Height Adjustment as it gives the driver the option to adjust according to his/her comfort and enjoy the drive.
Lastly, the car also has Front and Rear Accessory Sockets, Front Map Lamps and for music lovers 4 Speakers with Optional Tweeters to enjoy the music of your choice.
Safety:
The new City comes with Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, ECU Immobilizer, Rear Camera and ISOFIX Compatible Rear Seats. Honda Pakistan has offered three additional safety features in the new City, which are not being offered by its competitors and these features are Impact Mitigation Headrest, ACE Body Structure and Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Technology. Honda is manufacturing EURO-4 emissions standard engines in Pakistan which is making our variants environment friendly.
Final Thoughts:
Honda has gone all-out with this new City model. It has taken the legendary reliability of the City and given it a whole new makeover, which has uplifted the car into the premium sedan segment. Honda City fans will be thrilled with the new additions and will certainly be keen to get their hands on the new model. Honda is right to say that the new City has not just come; it has completely taken over.
