More than two weeks ago KIA suspended bookings of all of its locally manufactured cars until further notice. Now the company has decided to re-open bookings of its locally manufactured cars including Picanto, Stonic and Sportage.
On the surface, it seems like the bookings were suspended due to volatile market conditions, unstable local currency, changing political environment, and increased freight charges. A few days ago, we informed potential KIA car buyers to face another price increase. Now the bookings are resumed with the increased prices.
KIA Prices Increased Upto Rs.300,000
Unlike Toyota, which reopened bookings at old prices, KIA is taking new bookings only at new prices, effective from 18th April 2022.
