- After a few seconds, an instruction screen will appear on your screen for you to grant the permission to share data.

Connecting Phone to Laptop via WiFi Hotspot
If you want to connect your phone with your laptop via WiFi hotspot, you need to follow the following steps:
- Head to the settings app of your phone and choose the WiFi and Network option.
- Once you do that, select the Hotspot & Tethering option.
- Toggle on the feature and you will see a hotspot name and password which you will be using to connect your laptop with your phone. In the picture attached above, the toggle is off.
- Now, you need to search for a WiFi connection on your laptop. Select the hotspot name of your device and connect by putting in the password.
- Once the servers are connected, you can enjoy using the internet on your laptop or transfer data.
Connecting Phone to Laptop via Bluetooth
All smartphones come with Bluetooth technology which means another way of connecting your phone to your laptop.
- First, make sure that your laptop has Bluetooth technology. Also, ensure that it is not in Airplane mode.
- From your laptop, click start, go to settings and choose Bluetooth and Other Devices.
- Toggle on Bluetooth and select your phone’s Bluetooth name. In the picture attached above, the toggle is off.
- Pair both the devices and enjoy the connection.
Which Method is The Best?
All of these methods do the same job but you can choose any depending on your ease.
