What Could Be Introduced in the New 2024 Model? Customers’ Expectations
Wondering what the people were hoping to see in the 2024 Yamaha YBR 125G? Well, buckle up for a ride through the wish list:
Rear Disc Brake
Some were crossing their fingers for a rear disc brake to join the party, adding an extra layer of stopping power.
Upgraded Air Scoops Design / Shape
The YBR’s air scoops have been rocking the same look since day one. But here’s the buzz – riders aren’t just asking for new stickers; they are craving a fresh shape to rev up the style game. Time for Yamaha to shape things up, literally!
Digital instrument Cluster
Analog instrument clusters have been the norm for both the YBR and YBR G. Despite their price soaring over 4.5 lacs, the demand for a digital upgrade wasn’t a small ask.
Better Shock Absorbers
Guess what? YBR shocks are like superheroes for big bumps, but when it comes to those pesky small jolts, they’re not as heroic. Sure, they’re kings in the 125cc league, but riders are waving the flag, asking to make the ride comfier, especially on those tiny bumps.
Comfortable Seat
Yes! You read it right! YBR may have a wider seat that many relate to comfort. But many of its owners complain about the hardness of its seat foam. The company could have improved the cushioning to make it more comfortable during longer rides.
Engine Kill Switch
Lots of people were eyeing an engine kill switch, a feature found in some other bikes, especially those from Suzuki. Given that the YBR 125 wears the crown as one of the priciest 125cc bikes in the country, many riders were hoping to see this feature added to the lineup.
Dipper Switch (light high/low beam)
Dipper switch is among the most demanded items in YBR 125. And this demand is not a big one as some other bikes of the same category (or price range) already have it.
DRLs
Well! It might be too much to ask but some YBR lovers also really wanted to see DRLs in the Yamaha YBR 125.
Modified Exhaust
Initially, YBR was introduced with a chrome color exhaust that was known for less noise. After that, the company introduced a much localized exhaust (with more sound) as it was demanded by the customers. But now, many people are saying “in search of gold, we lost diamonds”. Now, they want the same old exhaust with much better quality & less noise.
New Alloy Rim Design
People are getting bored after looking at the same style of YBR’s Alloy rim for almost 7-8 years now. They were expecting a new alloy rim design for the supreme 125cc bike.
Modern Carrier
YBR has got a great shape but there is one prominent flaw (for many people), the carrier rack. It looks pretty old-fashioned. The company could have introduced a modern carrier to improve YBR’s overall aesthetics.
New Light Design
New light design is what some people were expecting in the new YBR 125G 2024 model. We are talking about the modification in both models.
Conclusion
Yamaha introduced the 2024 YBR125G, aiming for a fresh look. The twist? Just new stickers. With a higher price tag, the big question is, where’s the substantial change? Yamaha seems to be offering more of a sticker makeover than a grand transformation.

I am really disappointed from yamaha brand,
I bought yammah 100 4 stroke
But still suffering due to non availability of spare parts
No doubt ybr is good, but when issue is regarding after sales services
Yahmaha was failed
Who told u there is no after sale service of Yamaha??
After Honda Ybr is the only bike which has after sale service and cheap price parts in market
But their price increase is really very disappointing
