Analysis
YBR has become the dream bike of many in the country. This price hike might be heartbreaking for many as the dream is going further away from the reach of middle income people.
The reasons behind this hike are not specified. The Rupee is strengthening against the dollar constantly now. The fuel prices are low as compared to the previous month. Due to these factors, many were expecting a decrease in the prices of vehicles. But Yamaha had other plans.
Even the bikes manufacturing is mostly localized. So, there is pretty less room for any justification behind this price rather than getting higher profit margins.
