Existing Competition
The Toyota Corolla Cross isn’t the first, nor will it be the last, locally-manufactured HEV SUV in Pakistan. The Honda Vezel, Haval H6 HEV, MG HS PHEV, Hyundai Santa Fe and others already present in the market are bound to give the new entrant tough competition. However, what works in favor of the new SUV on the face of it is its brand’s logo and its price. A hybrid electric crossover SUV priced under Rs.1 crore is bound to turn many heads.
