Top 3 150cc Bikes You Can Buy In Pakistan

Pakistan has a huge bike industry due to its bulging middle-class population. Each year almost over 1.5 million bikes are sold by different bike manufacturing brands in the country with Atlas Honda being at the top of them all. Unlike the car industry, which is now diversifying after the entry of new carmakers, the local bike industry is much diversified with many brands selling motorcycles in different categories such as 70cc, 125cc, and 150cc.

First on the list is Honda CB 150F. The bike is equipped with a 4 stroke SOHC air-cooled engine with a balancer mated to a 5-speed transmission. The bike is very stylish and modern looking in other words sleek and aerodynamic. At the front, the bike is equipped with LED headlights, fog lights, and dippers. It has a sporty fuel tank design and an elegant tail light equipped with LEDs. 

The bike has a dry weight of 124kg and the dimensions are 2051 x 760 x 1085 mm (LxWxH). Moreover, the fuel tank capacity of CB 150F is 13.0 Liters. The ground clearance and wheelbase are 168 mm and 1311 mm respectively. Furthermore, at the front, the CB 150F is equipped with Telescopic Fork suspension and at the rear with Swing Arm suspension.

2. Suzuki GS 150SE

Suzuki Pakistan is truly the one that has diversified the 150cc bike segment in Pakistan. The company is offering multiple 150cc bikes namely Suzuki GS 150SE, Suzuki GS 150, and Suzuki GR 150. Right now we will focus on Suzuki GS 150 SE.

Same as Honda CB 150F, this bike also comes with 4-stroke OHC air-cooled engine. The bore & stroke of the bike is 57.0 x 56.8 mm, unlike Honda CB 150F which comes with a bore & stroke of 57.3 mm x 57.8 mm. The compression ratio of Suzuki GS 150 SE is 9.2:1 whereas CB 150F comes with a compression ratio of 9.1:1. It has a 5-speed manual transmission and electric start option as well. 

The dry weight of the bike is 114 kgs while, on the other hand, Honda’s CB 150F’s dry weight is 124 Kgs– it means GS is 10 kgs lighter than that of CB 150F. If we compare GS with Road Prince Wego 150, then Suzuki GS is 1 kg heavier than that of Wego. 

Moreover, the fuel tank capacity and ground clearance of GS are 12 Liters and 155 mm respectively, on the contrary, CB 150 has a fuel tank capacity of 13 Liters and a ground clearance of 168 mm. Wego’s fuel tank capacity is 18 Liters which is more than that of CB 150F and GS 150 SE. However, its ground clearance is lower as opposed to GS and CB 150F. 

Now coming to the wheelbase, Suzuki motorbike comes with a wheelbase of 1280 mm, and its competitor Honda CB 150F has a wheelbase of 1311mm. 

The bike has a price tag of PKR 214,000.

3. Suzuki GR 150

Unlike GS 150 SE, Suzuki GR 150 is sleek and aerodynamic. It houses a 4-Stroke Single Cylinder Air Cooled engine coupled with a 5-speed transmission. It gives 11hp at 8,000 rpm and churns out 11.5 NM of torque at 5,500 rpm. Its dry weight is 133 kgs.

Same as other 150cc bikes, it also has an electric-start option. GR 150 has the elegant digital gear and a fuel indicator. The motorbike has a ground clearance of 165 mm. Furthermore, the bore & stroke of the bike is 57 x 58.6 mm. As for styling, the bike has aggressive looks with a stair-type seat. It comes in two different color options: red and black. 

The company has priced the bike at PKR 290,000.
