Women are around 48.5% of Pakistan’s total population – World Bank. Yet we don’t see most of them driving on the roads. Even in the major cities, the number of female drivers on the roads is far less than the number of male drivers. To make females more independent, City Traffic Police Lahore is offering free motorcycle riding training in the city under the project Women-on-Wheels. Here are some details about the free driving school for women in Lahore.

Free Training
As per reports, over 7,000 women have already learned motorcycle riding in Lahore. The 67th batch of women is being trained in the Women on Wheels School LOS Rescue Academy. Moreover, women are also being trained for driving a car at Manawan Lines.
Registration & Other Details

- Age: 18-39 years
- A learner driving license is required (Photocopy)
- Photocopy of ID Card
- 1 Passport Size Photo
- Course Duration: 15 days*
- The course starts on: the 1st and 16th of every month
- Register before the course starting date
- Class timing starts at 9:00 AM
- Female instructors are available
Tip: Take a pair of joggers with you. It is helpful in the early stages of learning.
