Why the Price Hike?
This isn’t just about Isuzu. Most vehicle brands from Honda and Suzuki to Hyundai, Changan, and Kia, have increased prices recently. Mainly the new NEV levy is the reason behind this hike.
Still, some buyers will stick with the D-Max, especially if they need a tough, dependable vehicle that lasts. The big question is whether the extra Rs. 300,000 to 400,000 is worth it to them.
Quick Overview of ISUZU D-Max
For many in Pakistan, the D-Max is a stylish alternative to the Toyota Hilux Revo. It’s not a luxury vehicle but considered a power symbol. The top-end X-Terrain comes with a 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine, pumping out around 187 horsepower and 450 Nm torque, perfect for rough roads or heavy loads. It has a six-speed automatic gearbox and a 76-litre fuel tank, so it’s really made for long trips.
Safety is solid too. You get seven airbags, stability controls, ABS brakes, parking sensors, an immobilizer, and child-seat anchors. That makes it one of the safer pickups you can buy locally.
