Hyundai Elantra 7th Generation Price in Pakistan
The price of the Elantra 7th generation hybrid is around Rs. 6,200,000 in Canada (MSRP: $30,799). We can expect a higher price after its launch in Pakistan due to duties and taxes. The price of Elantra’s current generation in Pakistan goes up to Rs. 7,180,000. So, we can expect a higher price tag for the new expected hybrid model. But nothing official at the moment.
As per the company, this car will be unveiled at the Pakistan Auto Show 2024 at Expo Centre Lahore on October 25, 2024.
Final Verdict
When the Elantra 6th generation was launched in Pakistan back in 2021, it soon became popular among those who were stuck choosing between the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. The 6th generation Elantra Facelift, launched in 2018 in South Korea, is still being sold in Pakistan. The current 7th generation had already been launched globally in 2020, after which the 6th generation Elantra came to Pakistan. In short, Pakistanis were offered an outdated Elantra.
But now, the expected launch of a new 7th generation Elantra hybrid is bringing excitement among the locals looking to buy a car between 70 to 80 lakh rupees. It is going to give tough competition to the Toyota Corolla 1.8L Altis Grande X. Due to its impressive features, it may also compete with the base variant of the Honda Civic as well. Moreover, we may also see a petrol engine variant, but nothing is officially disclosed at the moment.
