Honda’s new hybrid SUV, the HR-V e:HEV, has been seen at different spots across Pakistan in recent days. The company has now confirmed that the car is available for test drives and public viewing at all Honda 3S dealerships.
From July 14 onwards, anyone interested can now go see the car in person at Honda 3S dealerships nationwide. Not only this, but interested people can also take it for a drive. It’s a different approach compared to the usual pre-booking model, where buyers often have to commit without trying the vehicle first.
The HR-V e:HEV is an upgraded version of its combustion engine siblings, featuring decent changes in exterior design, including an upgraded front grille and taillight design. Its interior has some decent enhancements as well, like an upgraded instrument cluster, more steering wheel controls, and the introduction of a wireless charger.
The hybrid HR-V has 6 airbags and comes with Honda Sensing, which is a multiple safety features system making it safer than before. Coming to the performance, the HR-V e:HEV is packed with 2 electric motors and a 1,500cc engine, providing an output of 253 Nm torque and 131 horsepower.
Talking about the price, this hybrid comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,999,000 (ex-factory). So, it’s not just about fuel efficiency, but also about offering something reliable at a reasonable price, backed by a countrywide service network.
Demand for fuel-efficient and eco-friendly vehicles is increasing. Also, the government has introduced the New Energy Vehicle Policy 2025-30 aimed at cutting emissions and reducing fuel dependency. So, the timing for Honda is perfect to launch a hybrid vehicle.
