Quality, functionality, and practicality is what we can say about the design of the new Honda HR-V. This mid-size crossover SUV has a simple yet sharper design that gives it an elegant, mature and strong aesthetics. The piano body color front grille (VTi-S) and black painted front grille (VTi) with horizontal slats also gives it a unique and modern touch. Honda has paid attention to the aesthetics as the wipers are hidden.
The prominent line on the bonnet connects both headlights and continues to the side as shoulder line and touches the taillight. Clean and plain side body / character lines also give this car a luxurious look which we can also see in some Audi SUVs. The hidden rear door handle enhances its side look.
Coming to its back, its tailgate is low and wide. The rear lights (LED) are sleek. The left and right tail lights are connected through a sleek line to the Honda’s logo in the middle of the tailgate.

Another great enhancement in HR-V’s design is the L-shaped AC vents that give the interior a futuristic and modern look. The rear seats are more reclined making them more comfortable even for long rides. Legroom and shoulder space is also more than enough on the rear side.
The material used on the seats is fabric (VTi) and Leather (VTi-S). The company has done great by giving a silver touch on some elements that look more fascinating due to its black interior.
The 8-inch infotainment system is positioned in the center of the dashboard. The Gear Console has piano black finishing which we can also see in some other elements like steering wheel buttons, AC control panel, and cladding (exterior of VTi-S).

Bookings of Honda HR-V are open from 22-Oct-2022. You can book the new HR-V from Honda’s dealership across the country. Minimum booking price is Rs.12 lacs. The tentative delivery for the now booked cars is extended 9-10 months. According to a report, HR-V VTi-S delivery time is July 2023, but for VTi, it is September 2023. Its warranty is offered for 3 years and 75,000 km.
That’s it from the launch. Honda has surprised us by launching HR-V at a lower than expected price. However, the new HR-V lacks some features that are available in the international variants, especially Honda Sensing.
If we talk about the difference between the 2 variants (VTi & VTi-S) introduced in Pakistan, major ones are in the features. Like the base variant (HR-V VTi) lacks fog lights, cameras, Android Navigation, rear USB ports, and wireless charging.
There is also some difference in their interior and exterior. The seat material of the base variant is fabric whereas the upper one has leather seats. Front grille of the HR-V VTi is black colored whereas the VTi-S comes with a body colored front grille.
Looking at the Honda HR-V Price in Pakistan, we can assume that it is going to be a tough competitor in the crossover SUV market.
