Design
Haval H6 shares an aggressive, sporty and sleek design language. However, it’s not as sporty and aggressive as Haval Jolion. The front of the car has an infinity chrome grille accompanied by a pair of LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs. There are fog lamps embedded in the plastic cutout below the headlights.
The sides of the car are relatively simple. But you do get a sleek waistline starting from the front headlight that spreads across the length of the car. The black cladding covers the entire lower body of the car, followed by soft character lines.
The rear is elegant, especially at night, due to the tail lamps that move across the car’s body. Like the front, the rear bumper also has a cutout to fit in reflectors. The chrome grille on the back and the bold and spacious Haval logo add to the car’s premium look.
Haval has decreased the chassis weight while using more robust materials. Thus resulting in a stronger, sturdier, and lightweight frame for the H6. Haval H6 is a 5-star rated NCAP vehicle which means it can absorb huge impacts, limiting damage to the passengers.

A 1.5L Turbo variant produces 147hp and 230 Nm of torque. This variant is only available in Front-wheel drive. The engine doesn’t feel sluggish in normal mode. However it suffers in the eco mode. Do not expect powerful performance as the power to weight ratio isn’t extraordinary.
The bigger sibling – the 2.0L Turbocharged engine, produces 201hp and 320 Nm of torque. The AWD system ensures excellent power delivery hence utilizing the full capacity of this engine. This variant generates more power than many other offroaders like Fortuner 2.7G.
Both variants come with a seven-speed DCT transmission, Euro 5 engine, eco, normal, snow and sports modes. The 2.0L turbo variant has sand and off-road modes as well.
Handling and Suspension

Large wheels also add to the exceptional handling of the car. The 1.5L variant comes with 225/60/R18 wheels, while the 2.0L Turbo gets larger 225/55/R19 wheels.
