It started again! As PKR is losing its value against USD, some major bike manufacturers have increased the prices of their vehicles. Now, DFSK has become the first car manufacturer to increase the prices of its vehicles in Pakistan. The new DFSK glory 580 Pro & Price Pearl prices are increased up to 1 lac rupees. 

Surprisingly, there is something to cheer for locals as the company has decreased the price of the DFSK K01 (mini truck).

Reason Behind Price Hike

It is understood that the DFSK has increased the prices of its vehicles due to an increase in the US Dollar rate. We can only hope that it’s not the beginning of yet another wave of price hikes. 

Conclusion

The Pakistani automobile industry is suffering a lot as car sales are down significantly (as per the PAMA report) compared to the previous year (2021). This type of price hike may further discourage people from buying new cars. Many are already preferring to buy used cars in Pakistan due to frequent price hikes in 2022.
