Vivo has officially unveiled the V29 for the European market, boasting a groundbreaking feature known as Aura Light, specifically designed to revolutionize portrait mode photography. With its unique light ring measuring 15.6mm in diameter, positioned under the two large camera circles, the Aura Light promises to elevate portrait shots by creating a three-dimensional lighting effect.

The advanced technology ensures even illumination from all angles, effectively eliminating facial shadows and dark areas. Vivo claims that the light-emitting area is nine times larger than a standard flash, allowing it to delicately accentuate skin tones while artfully concealing imperfections, ultimately revealing one’s natural beauty. Notably, the V29 boasts a 36% increase in brightness over its predecessor, the V27.
The key highlight of the Aura Light feature is the Smart Color Temperature Adjustment, which enables the phone to automatically adapt to its surrounding environment. By compensating for the color temperature of the ambient lights, the V29 provides users with a lighting experience akin to having a personal light designer.
Camera
Photography enthusiasts will be delighted with the V29’s camera setup, consisting of a 50 MP OIS main camera and a 50 MP HD selfie camera with an expanded field-of-view and precise autofocus. These high-quality lenses promise to capture stunning images with impressive clarity and detail.
Battery
Additionally, the V29 comes with eSIM support, enabling seamless connectivity, and a substantial 4,600 mAh battery equipped with 80W wired charging. With this technology, the company claims users can charge the phone from 1% to 50% in just 18 minutes, ensuring they stay connected and powered throughout the day.
The phone’s durability is another noteworthy aspect, as the V29 is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
Design & Display
Design enthusiasts will appreciate the two available color versions: Peak Blue and Noble Black. The Peak Blue variant, in particular, features an industry-first design that utilizes 15 million micron-sized 3D magnetic particles. This design creates a stunning array of shimmering and cascading gradations of light and shadows, inspired by the magnificent grandeur atop mountains.
