In a market flooded with smartphones, the Oppo Reno 12F stands out with its perfect blend of style and performance. The Oppo Reno 12F is all about style and sophistication. Especially compared to the Reno 11F, it looks quite an upgrade. It features the unique Cosmos Ring Design, inspired by luxury watches, which resembles the camera module design of the Realme 12 Plus 5G. Moreover, the ring flashlight gives it quite a fascinating and distinctive look. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the Reno 12F may look a little smaller than its predecessor but the quality has not been compromised. It supports 1 billion colors and offers a crisp resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. With a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate, everything from scrolling through social media to gaming feels incredibly fluid. The display also reaches a peak brightness of 2100 nits, so it looks great even in bright outdoor conditions. Plus, the hardware-level low blue light protection helps reduce eye strain.

Camera

Photography enthusiasts will love the Reno 12F’s camera setup. It has a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens, perfect for capturing all sorts of scenes. Although some people may find that it has less pixel count compared to the Reno 11F, the actual quality may surpass it because more pixels cannot guarantee better results. Moreover, the AI features like AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 make editing photos fun and easy. The 32 MP front camera ensures you always look your best in selfies, and both cameras support high-quality video recording too.

Performance

The Reno 12F is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chipset, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. However, its precursor had a better chipset (Dimensity 7050). So, a noticeable downgrade in this area. It runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14, providing a user-friendly and responsive experience. Whether you are multitasking or gaming, the octa-core processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU handle it all seamlessly. With up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, you will have plenty of space and speed for everything you need.
