The Chinese manufacturer of one of the hottest Android phones in the world has launched the Nord 3 with improved battery life, a larger and upgraded display, and a more powerful chipset compared to its predecessor. It’s undoubtedly an upgrade from the Nord 2, but is it worth your money? Let’s find out by examining the new phone’s specs, features, and, most importantly, its price.

OnePlus Nord 3 Design & Display
As mentioned earlier, the Nord 3 has undergone an upgrade in terms of its display size, now featuring a 6.74-inch screen instead of the previous 6.43-inch one. The new OLED panel not only provides a larger viewing area but also boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, offering enhanced visual fluidity.
Moreover, it is compatible with HDR10+ content, ensuring vivid and lifelike colors. With a higher resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels, the screen delivers sharper and more detailed imagery. The device’s screen is equipped with a rapid 1000Hz touch response rate, enabling quick and seamless interactions.
The new Nord supports a remarkable 10-bit color depth, enhancing color accuracy for a more realistic display. To optimize battery usage, the screen can dynamically adjust its refresh rate between 40Hz and 120Hz.
OnePlus Nord 3 Cameras
If you were waiting for an upgrade because of better camera specifications, the Nord 3 will disappoint you. The OnePlus Nord 3 maintains the same specifications as its predecessor.
It features a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with a size of 1/1.56″ and pixel pitch of 1.0µm. The sensor is accompanied by an optically-stabilized lens with an aperture of f/1.9, ensuring clear and sharp images. The device also includes an 8MP sensor for capturing ultrawide shots, equipped with an aperture of f/2.3 and a wide 120-degree Field of View (FoV) to capture more in a single frame.
Furthermore, in the Nord 3, a 2MP macro camera is positioned on the back of the device, allowing for close-up photography. On the front, there is an upgraded 16MP sensor specifically designed for capturing selfies and engaging in video calls.
OnePlus Nord 3 Performance
The Nord 2 is fitted with the Dimensity 1300 chipset, while the latest Nord comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. Therefore, it’s undoubtedly an upgrade, and this improvement should also be reflected in the performance.
OnePlus Nord 3 Battery
The Nord 2 features a 4,500 mAh battery, whereas the all-new Nord 3 is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. However, both phones support the same 80W fast charging. Although the company claims that the battery should retain its health for four years, it ultimately depends on how the phone is utilized.
The phone will be available in two colors: Tempest Gray and Misty Green.
OnePlus Nord 3 Price in Pakistan
The launch date of this phone in Pakistan is not known yet. However, the phone will be available in two variants:
- 8 GB of RAM | 128 GB of storage – €500 or almost Rs.156,000
- 16 GB of RAM | 256 GB of storage – €550 or almost Rs.172,000
The market price of these phones will be higher due to duties and taxes. This phone will compete with the likes of Xiaomi 12T, Oppo Reno10 Pro, and Vivo X90.
