OnePlus 10 Pro Design and Display (D&D)
Design
The overall design of the OnePlus 10 Pro is almost the same as its predecessor (OnePlus 9 Pro). But, the back side has got a new camera setup and design with ceramic camera module. It is slightly slimmer than its predecessor but the weight is slightly more. Though, it is still lighter than the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Dimensions | 163 x 73.9 x 8.6 mm |
Weight | 201g |
Build | Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), aluminum frame |
Protections | IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) and Gorilla Glass |
Display
Well, the display of the OnePlus 10 Pro is the same as the 9 Pro. 6.7” 120 Hz LTPO2 Fluid AMOLED panel is not only good for gamers but also for watching videos. Here are some of its specs:
Display Type | LTPO2 Fluid AMOLED, 1B colors, 120Hz, HDR10+, 500 nits (typ), 800 nits (HBM), 1300 nits (peak), Always-on display |
Size | 6.7 inches (~90.0% screen-to-body ratio), 1440 x 3216 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~525 ppi density) |
This display is competitive but not good enough to beat the Samsung’s S22 Ultra’s display quality that has Dynamic AMOLED 2X and 1750 nits (peak brightness).
OnePlus 10 Pro Camera
OnePlus 10 Pro review is incomplete without the camera. Some people might find the camera still not as good as it should be as compared to the flagships of Samsung and others. But still, it has the best camera among all the other OnePlus devices. This camera setup was also used in OnePlus 9 Pro with an additional 2MP monochrome camera.
Main/Rear Camera | Specs | 48 MP, f/1.8, 23mm (wide), 1/1.43″, 1.12µm, multi-directional PDAF, Laser AF, OIS8 MP, f/2.4, 77mm (telephoto), 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 3.3x optical zoom50 MP, f/2.2, 14mm, 150˚ (ultrawide), 1/2.76″, 0.64µm, AF |
Features | Hasselblad Color Calibration, Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama
Video | 8K@24fps, 4K@30/60/120fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, Auto HDR, gyro-EIS
Selfie/Front Camera | Specs | 32 MP, f/2.2, (wide), 1/2.74″, 0.8µm |
Features | Auto-HDR | |
Video | 1080p@30fps, gyro-EIS |
Its main camera might seem low in MP (megapixels) but it has a large sensor (1/4.3”). That means the picture quality will be better even under low light conditions. Telephoto and ultrawide camera sensors are also available. However, the ultrawide camera gets a downgrade with the same 50MP but smaller sensor (1/2.76″) as compared to its predecessor 9 Pro’s sensor (1/1.56″).
Selfie camera has been upgraded with a 32 MP (1/2.74″) larger sensor.
OnePlus 10 Pro performance
When we talk about OnePlus devices, performance is not an issue at all. 10 Pro also offers a lot in terms of performance. With the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, Adreno 730 GPU, and up to 12GB RAM, it can smoothly run any game at high end settings. UFS 3.1 provides fast performance in normal tasks as well. Due to these specs, this device gets an AnTuTu V9 score of around 886248.

Advantages | Disadvantages |
Exceptional display quality | Cameras aren’t as great as its competitors (like Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra) |
Superior performance | Screen size might be too large for some people |
Excellent battery life and fast charging
Lower price as compared to other flagship devices |
This OnePlus 10 Pro review shows that the company is slowly advancing towards the best flagship phone. Many areas like battery, performance, and selfie camera, etc. have been upgraded.
