Step 1: Open the start menu and type “dxdiag.” Now click Enter. 

Step 2: DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open up. Click on the Display from the control panel at the top of this tool. You can see the details of the graphic card.  

How to Check the Activity Status of the Graphic Card on a Laptop?

So now you know the graphic card you have on your laptop. If you want to see the activity status of the graphic card, here is how to find out. 

Step 1: Open Task Manager from Windows Search. Or press Shift+Ctrl+Esc. You would find the performance tab in the task manager pop-up window. If not, click on the Details mentioned at the bottom of Task Manager. Now click on the performance tab. 

Step 2: Click on the GPU tab on the left side panel of the task manager. You can see the activity status of the GPU.
