Supporting Local: Discovering the Best Pakistani Makeup Brands for Your Beauty Routine

Gone are the days when Pakistani ladies were dependent on imported makeup products to freshen up their skin. A budding local makeup scene has now blossomed into a full fledged industry with more and more fashion entrepreneurs making names for themselves. Sidestepping the debate whether “local” makeup brands manufacture their products inside Pakistan (some do), we have listed 5 most popular Pakistani makeup brands which have become a must have for many Pakistani ladies.

5 Best Makeup Brands in Pakistan

A few years ago, other than Medora, there were very few local fashion brands and entrepreneurs. Now the tide has turned. Many big businesses which started out manufacturing something else, have now ventured into this industry, namely Sapphire, Bonanza, J., and others. In addition, fashion models and influencers and makeup artists have started their own makeup brands, some of which will be covered in this blog. But let’s start with the oldest Pakistani makeup brand.

Medora of London (Pvt) Ltd., is a Pakistani makeup brand since 1961. It can be called the pioneer of local makeup manufacturing in Pakistan. The company has three brands, Medora, Delycia and Diplomat, which cater to the needs of all Pakistanis. Medora claims to have a network of over 200 distributors all over Pakistan.

Medora is known for its makeup products like,

In addition, the company manufactures products related to fragrances, talcum powders, hair care products and more.

Like Medora, Bonanza offers fragrances for both men, women, unisex and even attar.
