Camera Mistake: There are chances CCTV camera captures blurred or unclear images due to weather, sharp sunlight, or more. 

System Error: If you have sold your vehicle and transferred it to its new owner, and you still receive a wrong e-challan, there might be a system error.

Verify Your E-Challan

The first step is to verify your e-challan and see if it is issued for your vehicle or not. You can do so in easy steps:

  • Visit the PSCA E-Challan official website. 
  • Click on Verify Your Challan option. 
  • Enter your bike or car’s plate number and chassis number or your CNIC. 
  • Once done, click on Search. After this, you will be able to verify the e-challan issued against your vehicle.

File a Complaint 

If you have a valid claim that the challan is wrong, you need to file a complaint against it. Open the Punjab Safe Cities Authority website and go to the review challan option. This option enables you to check the challan and also file a complaint if needed. All you need to do is add a review reason, detail, and upload evidence. The authority will review the complaint and will take action. 

Visit the Traffic Police Office

Here is another thing you can do. Gather the proofs and take the necessary documents with you and visit the traffic police office, and file a complaint. You need to take the CNIC, vehicle registration book, and e-challan slip, etc. 

If you conclude that the number plate of your vehicle is cloned, make sure you file a complaint immediately to prevent getting into fraud and scams.
