The Letin Auto company is also known as Levdeo Automobile Group, which went through a bankruptcy, but chances are the company is looking for opportunities by stepping into a different market.
Furthermore, this initiative of building will not just improve sustainable transportation, but is likely to increase job opportunities for the working class as well.
NEV Policy and Subsidized Electric Bike Scheme
According to the NEV policy introduced in Pakistan, it aims to sell 30% of electric vehicles by 2030. For this purpose, other initiatives were taken as well, for instance, around 3000 charging stations are to be installed with fast chargers.
Just like this, the Electric Bike Scheme aims the launch a total of 116,000 electric bikes and 3,170 electric rickshaws/loaders to promote a clean environment.
Conclusion
To sum up, Levdeo Automobile Group, a Chinese company, steps into the trend where other automakers such as BYD and MG have electric vehicles. However, the EV Factory to be built by a Chinese company will give rise to sustainable transportation and other opportunities for the working class.
